I agree with Emu, it's very common for Commodore V6's to have ignition problems. Don't waste time looking at the fuel system till you've been through the igniton. Start by replacing the plugs and leads from there look at the coil packs and then the ignition module. Depending on how long you've had the problem you may have to replace some or all of those components. It starts out as a misfire due to a faulty plug or lead which if not fixed can lead to coil pack problems and then eventually ignition module problems/failures.
